  32. The early Panasonic 8-inch recorders were some of the worst recorders
  33. available.  The Sony was far and away the better recorder even back
  34. then.  Of course the Sony recorder and it's processor were going for
  35. around $25K then instead of the $15K Panasonic price tag.  There was
  36. something to be said for that additional 10K to be sure.

  38. I think Mark Thompson may be able to shed some light on this subject
  39. as I believe he's been using a Videodisk recorder of late.  We
  40. haven't had the need or budget to pop one into our studio yet.  I
  41. think it will probably be part of our setup this year though.
